2007-08 Boys State Playoffs

DownSouth's record in Districts for all classes: 239-51 (82.4% correct)....Last year's District performance was 216-53 (80.3%)....Also, 81.9% of all teams expected to make the state playoffs actually did.....1st rd of Regionals DownSouth was 53-21 (71.6%)....Last year's 1st rd of Regionals performance 60-16 (78.9%).....2nd rd of Regionals DownSouth was 23-13 (63.9%)....Last year's 2nd rd of Regionals performance (77.1%).....Of the 40 boys teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments to make it to the Regional Final, 21 teams actually did. (52.5%)...Of the 20 boys teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments (out of 468 teams) to make it to the Final 4, 12 teams actually did. (60.0%)...The 5 state champs had rankings of: #1, 1, 1, 3, 8.

Overall performance: 342-91 = 79.0% correct
