2009 Season: The 4 State Champs had rankings of: #1, #1, #1, #5.
Playoffs Overall: Higher rated team is: 36-12, winning 75.0% of matches.

2007-08 Girls State Playoffs
DownSouth's record in Districts for all classes: 276-39 (87.6% correct)...Last year's District performance was 204-27 (88.3%)...Also, 83.5% of all teams expected to make the state playoffs actually did.....1st rd of Regionals DownSouth was 60-18 (76.9%)....Last year's 1st rd of Regionals performance 64-10 (86.5%).....2nd rd of Regionals DownSouth was 30-10 (75.0%)....Last year's 2nd rd of Regionals performance 31-7 (81.6%).....Of the 40 girls teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments to make it to the Regional Final, 25 teams actually did. (62.5%)...Of the 20 girls teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments (out of 473 teams) to make it to the Final 4, 9 teams actually did. (45.0%)....The 5 state champs had rankings of: #2, 3, 6, 7, 10.

Overall performance: 384-79 = 82.9% correct

6a - #1 vs #5 --- #1 wins 3-0 over #5.
5a - #1 vs #2 --- #2 wins 3-1 over #1.
4a - #1 vs #11 -- #11 wins in pk's (4-3) over #1. Game ends T 0-0. #1 outshot #11 (12-6)
3a - #2 vs #4 --- #2 wins 2-1 over #4.

How the Regional Seeds did: (each region had 8 teams, only 1 team made the Final 4. This will tell us which seed made it from each region.)

DownSouth's record in Districts for all classes: 239-51 (82.4% correct)....Last year's District performance was 216-53 (80.3%)....Also, 81.9% of all teams expected to make the state playoffs actually did.....1st rd of Regionals DownSouth was 53-21 (71.6%)....Last year's 1st rd of Regionals performance 60-16 (78.9%).....2nd rd of Regionals DownSouth was 23-13 (63.9%)....Last year's 2nd rd of Regionals performance (77.1%).....Of the 40 boys teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments to make it to the Regional Final, 21 teams actually did. (52.5%)...Of the 20 boys teams that DownSouth's system chose before the district tournaments (out of 468 teams) to make it to the Final 4, 12 teams actually did. (60.0%)...The 5 state champs had rankings of: #1, 1, 1, 3, 8.

Overall performance: 342-91 = 79.0% correct
